As part of planned drainage investigations at Villa Park, home of Aston Villa Football Club, TKS Civils was appointed by our client to undertake a comprehensive CCTV drainage survey across large sections of the stadium's underground drainage network.

Over four days, one of our dedicated CCTV survey teams carried out detailed inspections of surface water and foul drainage systems throughout the stadium estate. Using our purpose-built CCTV survey unit, the team assessed pipe condition, identified structural and service defects, and produced accurate digital records to support future maintenance and asset management decisions. The survey identified a range of conditions including fractures, deposits and several collapsed sections requiring further attention.

Working within a busy operational venue required careful planning, professional site management and close coordination with the client to ensure survey activities were completed safely and efficiently while minimising disruption.

Following completion of the works, TKS Civils delivered a comprehensive WinCan survey report, complete with defect coding, imagery and recommendations, providing the client with a clear understanding of the condition of the drainage infrastructure.
